I polled past Republican primary voters in Texas on their preferences among the announced presidential candidates. They're not sure. While only 16% said they were undecided, 70% said they were still considering other candidates. When asked about Fred Thompson entering the race, enough said they would switch and support his candidacy to move him into the lead, but only a third of those that were still considering others said they would definitely support Thompson. |

Clinton's strength among Latino voters increased this month while Obama's strength among African-American voters was steady. Richardson gained among White voters, primarily in West Texas and the Panhandle. |

I polled two populations - registered Democrats who regularly vote in the general and Democratic primary voters. I initially asked about the current candidates, and then asked if the respondent would change their vote if Gore entered the race. The Gore numbers represent the people who said they would definitely change their vote. |
